PE - Dichroic GlassAs part of the :devprojecteducate: Artisan Craft week, I am posting themed art features from various Artisan Crafts galleries every day.
Today I would like you to take a look at our Glass gallery introduction as well as the accompanying interviews posted. To take a more in-depth look at this gallery, today's theme is dichroic glass.
Dichroic glass contains multiple ultra-thin layers of metallic oxides which give it a shine and color (often different colors from different angles) that is quite distinct. Dichroic glass dates bat to at least the 4th century AD.
The dichroic layers are fused into the glass at high temperatures and do not rub o
